Onesie Pajamas Make Oprah's Favorite Things List

Want a way to bond with your family in style this season? Take a cue from Oprah Winfrey, who recently released her massive 2016 Oprah's Favorite Things List. Among her most coveted items: onesie pajamas, in sizes for the whole family.
It makes perfect sense. After the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, who wouldn't want to settle down for the night or warm up next to the fire in a set of cozy footed pajamas? The weather may be getting colder, but that doesn't mean your feet have to.
Oprah's annual list this year also includes plenty of great things to snack on while suited up in your pajamas: gourmet potato chips, cookie tin sets, a poinsettia-inspired cake, and even a sorbet maker if you're feeling industrious.
Longtime Oprah devotees can also enhance their book club collection with a $250 set of her favorite picks, including works from Maya Angelou, William Faulkner, Toni Morrison, and John Steinbeck. Curl up in bed with a good book and your favorite PJs!
While a set of pajama onesies for every member of your family will make for a great holiday gift, why wait until you open presents to enjoy them? A family photo shoot in your matching sleepwear for your annual holiday card will give your loved ones near and far a good chuckle and an excellent memory to hang on the fridge.
Jokes and holiday merriment aside, adult pajamas can actually be a practical and useful gift as well. Surveys suggest that 61% of people don't own very many sleepwear options, so a set of comfortable PJs might be just what they need to get a better night's rest.
In fact, no one understands this better than Oprah herself. When her magazine's creative director, Adam Glassman, first started compiling the gift list back in June, he walked in to find her sweating in the summer heat, enjoying her new set of pajamas.
"She was wearing this cute little one-piece onesie," Glassman said, "and I kept saying, 'Don't you want a T-shirt?' and she kept saying, 'No, I want my onesie!'"
So there you have it, folks: Oprah herself recommends onesies for everybody on your holiday shopping list this year.
